Boy oh boy it has been quite some time since I last wrote on this wonderful blog of mine. I have been in such a slump when it comes to writing. I have also just been a busy gal when it comes to work and my day-to-day life.

I thought what better way to get back into the swing of things than to write out a little life update?

For the past few months, I have been working for a new company. I have had this new job since September and I can say that I am very happy with it. I truly love what I have been doing. In college, I majored in early childhood education. I have always had this love for children for as long as I can remember. I took a few child development classes in high school and loved learning about the developing brain and how a child’s development spikes drastically within the first few years of their lives. Those first few years of their lives are crucial to their development. I am so passionate about giving children a great resource to expand their creativity, knowledge, and abilities. I love how rewarding this job is. I have made so many great friendships along the way and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me in this job.

Soon, one of my best friends will be turning 21. CRAZY right?! I feel old. Just kidding, but it’s about time she joins the club! 

My nephew, brother, and sister-in-law are in town now. If you know me, you know how much I love and adore my nephew. It is always so nice to be with them since they live pretty far away. 

I have been having a hard time mentally these past few months, but I have been turning to God and allowing Him to lead me where I am supposed to be. There is nothing in this world that He can’t fix. He has brought me out of some dark places, and I am so lucky to have a God like Him.

I also want to thank anyone who reads this post. I am appreciative of every single person who takes the time to read my posts. I am very passionate about sharing parts of my life so that others don’t feel alone in theirs.
