The Little Red Journal

I never thought that this day would come. I have retired my little orange journal and have a new red one. We’ll call her the little red journal. :) 

The little orange journal was such an important piece of my day-to-day life in 2023. But I decided to put her away for safekeeping because I had the feeling to start fresh. The little orange journal had a lot of sad, angry, and confusing moments in writing and I felt sad every time I would re-read past journal entries. I am aware of my past and the moments that occurred in 2023, I’ve felt all of the feelings, cried all of the tears, and have come to terms with those moments. But, it was time to put those journal entries to rest.

Red has always been a favorite color of mine, and it is my favorite color to wear when it comes to clothing. In all honesty, I started liking the color red years ago because it was my mom’s favorite color. Now, I can’t get enough of it!

I am excited for the little red journal to come to life. I’ve gotten some inspo from various Pinterest posts, TikTok videos, and much more. I have a plethora of stickers, markers, pens, and photos to put into this new journal- and I can’t wait to look back at the finished product a year from now!

This was a short & sweet blog post, but I just wanted to relax and write for a bit!
